Bethany Corey moved to San Diego from Rochester, NY in 1998, made her way to Los Angeles in 2002, joined FPCH in 2007 and came on staff in the spring of 2010.  She has been the Administrative Director here since 2016.

Her cross-country move was to attend law school at USD.  In her last semester there she crossed paths with her future husband, Jason.  As he is in the film industry the couple moved to Hollywood. After nine years in practice, and while pregnant with their oldest daughter, Bethany left law and thought it would be more family friendly to work at her church. After many conversations and about a year later, the Administrative Coordinator position opened up and Bethany joined the team.

The past nine years here have stretched her in the best ways possible.  With no theological or HR background at the start of her time here, Bethany has since grown in both, receiving her HR certification in 2012 and regularly attending pastoral staff meetings and retreats.  Bethany is continually awed and inspired by the way God is working in the lives of other staff members, in our congregation and in our church in Hollywood.

Bethany and Jason are the parents to two girls, Camden age 9 and Quinn age 5.  Bethany sits on the board of Hollywood Young Life and her local library in Los Feliz.  An avid Red Sox fan, she has been in a fantasy baseball league for over a decade.  She fancies herself a coffee aficionado and loves the ocean.
